Introduction

Hello there!

Welcome to Mommy Monologues!!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Rebekah. I am 26, have been married for nearly four years, and have one very beautiful, hard headed daughter. They say she gets it from me, but I'm still blaming her daddy!

This is my life in a nutshell.

Addison and Wade (a.k.a.  the Daddy)

Yes, my daughter is eating cotton candy.
Yes, my husband is trying his best to keep the mess contained.
Yes, she is reaching for the little bit of cotton candy I have in my own hand as I'm taking the picture.
My daughter can be a bit of a handful, but what child isn't LOL.

My life, since having Addison, has changed so much.
My life, since my daughter turned one and started walking, has changed a million times more.
I will be the first to tell you that, having an infant and having a toddler, are two totally different experiences, but both are so much fun.

Which is why I just want to share it.
What mom doesn't want to share the joys and hardships of being a mother??
You can't tell me that when you get around your other mommy friends, that ya'll don't go into the... "baby #1 did this, while I was trying to deal with baby #19".

** Shout out to you 19 Kids and Counting Fans! **

Back to business!
A little background information.
I used to write a small blog that I started before Addison was born, and since then, fell off the band wagon. Between school, and the transition of being a mother, and just...Life, I quickly let that love go. But only temporarily.

I've been wanting to start writing in my blog again, but I knew it couldn't be in the same one.
I needed a fresh start, because the person I was when I started that one, and the person I am now, are two totally different people.

And while my life isn't a Alias Episode, that doesn't mean I can't want to share little pieces of my world with, well, ,the world!

I may not be in a new part of the world every day, but my stay at home mom life keeps me on my toes, and I have missed just being able to write about it. Especially, since my daughter has hit her, very early, terrible twos.

You don't know adventure until your daughter climbs on top of the table to get her daddy's drill.
Your heart stops, and the run from the hallway to the dining room table feels like a 5k.
There's your adrenaline overload for you adrenaline junkies!

I digress.

Since the spring Semester is finally over, I have decided to jump back on the blog bandwagon with my own Mommy Monologues.

So if you are a mommy who enjoys hearing and sharing the joys and struggles of trying to raise a well-rounded future citizen
or
If you aren't, and you just want to get a glimpse of what mommy life will be one day,
Then
Just follow me in Mommy Monologues!
